We inspire
Green Game Jam
Since October 2021, we have been a part of the UN global initiative Playing for the Planet, which currently consists of close to 50 game studios from around the world. The aim of this initiative is to:
- Act – Map and reduce the carbon footprint of game development and its adjacent operations.
- Inspire – Reach out to a wide gaming audience in a creative way that addresses major environmental challenges.
- Share – Create a space for the game studios to exchange experiences and come up with innovative solutions together.
In 2022, the third Green Game Jam will take place and Pixel Federation will be a part of it.

In 2022 we plan to create 6 events focusing on reforestation and protection of oceans, that will reach as many of our players as possible through our games.
- Port City players can look forward to these events in May and August.
- Diggy’s Adventure is adding a story event in March and a larger one in July.
- Trainstation 2 will have it first event in June, that may be linked to a donation system, and another one in August, with focus on renewable energy.
In 2021, Pixel Federation developers inspired TrainStation 2 players with an eco-themed event.
Save the Earth Event in TrainStation 2
In May 2021, we prepared a Save the Earth event for players in TrainStation 2.
The event was launched twice and it has reached up to 370000 unique players from all over the world.
